Congratulations to Venitia’s BMS Motorway Response Officer Greg Cox, who was presented with the 2022 AfPA Flexible Pavement Field Worker of the Year for Queensland last weekend.
Greg is responsible for the operations of one of Brisbane’s critical pieces of transport infrastructure – the Gateway Bridge and motorway.
Together with other members of Ventia’s Brisbane Motorway Services (BMS) Incident Response Team, Greg manages 64km of motorway (including 88 bridges). The team is responsible for the safe passage of over 320,000 Brisbane motorists per day.
Greg is often first on the scene when crashes and incidents occur, prior to the arrival of emergency services, and is renowned for his passionate dedication to keeping motorists safe.
