Vale Reg Leach

Roads Australia is saddened by the passing of John Shaw Medallist, Reg Leach.

Across a decorated career in the transport sector, Mr Leach was a mainstay at Western Australia’s Department of Main Roads for decades before working at Golder Associates, where he was awarded the prestigious Roads Australia John Shaw Medal for his lasting contribution to the roads sector.

Mr Leach was renowned for his road surface material expertise, which encompassed important work assembling road-building model specifications.

RA passes on our condolences to Reg, his wife Carol, family, friends and all those fortunate enough to benefit from his vast knowledge over many decades.
