CPB completes Hyde St WGT ramp work

CPB Contractors has completed all beam installations for the Hyde St Ramps as part of the West Gate Tunnel project.

“Our CPB Contractors team safely installed the last beams on Bridge 30; this milestone is a culmination of 20 months of sensational teamwork to install more than 15,000 tonnes of precast elements,” said Gavan Williams, CPB Contractors Project Director.

Once opened, the Hyde St Ramps will provide better access for heavy vehicles and trucks to industrial areas that can’t travel in the tunnels.
