Transport Australia VIC Industry Lunch with Saul Cannon, Port of Melbourne

Join Transport Australia in Melbourne on 17 September 2026 for the Victorian Industry Lunch, featuring Saul Cannon, Chief Executive Officer of Port of Melbourne.
In a timely discussion, Saul will share his perspective on the infrastructure, investment and transport priorities shaping the future of Australia’s largest container port and the role it will play in supporting Victoria’s economic growth.
Victoria’s freight and supply chain network is facing a period of significant change. As demand grows and pressure on transport infrastructure increases, industry collaboration will be critical to keeping people, goods and businesses moving.
This is an opportunity to:
· hear directly from one of Australia’s key transport leaders
· explore the challenges and opportunities facing Victoria’s freight and supply chain network
· connect with industry peers from across the transport and infrastructure sectors
· contribute to the conversation about the future of freight movement in Victoria
As Victoria plans for the decades ahead, conversations that bring together government, industry and operators have never been more important.
We look forward to welcoming you to Melbourne on 17 September.
