2026 Port of Melbourne Site Tour | Melbourne

Ahead of the Transport Australia VIC Industry Lunch with Saul Cannon, CEO, Port of Melbourne, on 17 September, join Transport Australia for an exclusive Site Tour of Port of Melbourne.
As Australia’s largest container and cargo port, Port of Melbourne is a critical gateway for Victoria’s imports and exports, and a central part of the freight network that keeps the economy moving. The port connects trade, industry, agriculture, manufacturing, road, rail, last mile logistics and more than 80 business operations across the port precinct.
This exclusive two-hour boat tour offers Transport Australia members a unique opportunity to experience the port from the water and see its operations up close.
Departing from and returning to Docklands aboard Lady M, the tour will include commentary from Port of Melbourne and provide a waterside perspective of key terminals and port operations, including:
-
Appleton Dock
-
Victoria Dock
-
Swanson Dock (swing basin only due to wharf works)
-
Webb Dock East and West
Following the tour, attendees will return to Library at the Dock for a brief wrap-up before pre-arranged transport departs for Metropolis Events for the Transport Australia VIC Industry Lunch with Saul Cannon.
