This event forms part of our Innovation series, exploring innovative solutions to the biggest challenges facing Australia’s transport and infrastructure sector.

Our speaker

Andrew Mahon, Deputy Director-General (Policy, Planning & Investment)
Andrew has over twenty years’ experience in transport delivering across strategic policy, regulation, Infrastructure and planning.
In his role, Andrew helps set the future direction of the transport system in Queensland. This includes shaping key strategies, policies and plans for an integrated transport system that supports the safe and efficient movement of people and goods, while driving value for the community and delivering on decarbonisation outcomes.
Andrew’s responsibility is to ensure investment across road, rail and public transport, active transport, and freight networks is balanced and part of a single integrated transport network under the Queensland Government’s $32.1 billion transport investment.
